Theatre for Teens
BroadHollow’s Theatre for Teens (TFT) was created to give students a chance to learn the art of performing through the actual rehearsal process. We have two programs. Our TFT program comprises young actors from ages 13 through 18 while our TFTjr program includes performers in the age group of 7 through 12. Recent productions include: High School Musical Jr., Into the Woods, Guys & Dolls Jr, Seussical Jr., All Shook Up, Grease, School House Rock Jr. and Thoroughly Modern Millie.

Broadhollow Theater Company will hold auditions for it’s TFT production of LEGALLY BLONDE the musical on Sat. May 26 at 5pm at BroadHollow in Elmont, 700 Hempstead Tpke. and Tuesday May 29 and Wednesday May 30 at 7pm at the BayWay Arts Center, 265 East Main Street, East Islip. Directed and Choreographed by Jessy Waller. Seeking ages 12-18 for our TEEN PRODUCTION. Bring photo and resume. Prepare 16 bars of a song, bring sheet music. Please be prepared to dance and jump rope! Please bring a list of rehearsal conflicts to auditions. Rehearsals will start mid-June and will take place at the BayWay Arts Center in East Islip. The performance dates are 7/ 28 at 4pm, 7/29 at 7pm, 8/4 at 4pm and 8/5 at 7pm. There is a production fee of $250 for returning TFTers and $275 for new actors. The story is based on the 2001 film. It tells the story of Elle Woods, a sorority girl who enrolls at Harvard Law School to win back her ex-boyfriend Warner. She discovers how her knowledge of the law can help others, and successfully defends exercise queen Brooke Wyndham in a murder trial.
